Concerning books about Gensei-ryu karate, are you searching for a particular book, or for anything related to Gensei-ryu ?

The only books about Gensei-ryu I've read are in Japanese, and are out of print in Japan. Can you read japanese ?

I found on the Net that a book was published in Spain, "Gensei ryu Karate-do. Cinco Principios, Tres Dimensiones" by Manuel Pedregal, but I couldn't get it. Have you heard about it ?

I´m training Gensei ryu karate with my sensei Hiromichi Kohata.

I have yellow belt only.

I´m looking for a book of Shukumine.

and yes, I have the book "Gensei ryu Karate-do. Cinco Principios, Tres Dimensiones" by Manuel Pedregal. I bougth it in the internetshop kamikazeweb.com, it has katas and the history of gensei-ryu.

Seiken Shukumine wrote 3 books:

"Shin Karate-do kyohan", Ed.Bungeisha, 1964.

"Karate-do tanren sankagetsu", Ed.Bungeisha, 1983.

"Taido Gairon", Ed.Gendai Shorin, 1988.

The first one is about Gensei-ryu, may be is it the one you are searching for ?
The second is about Karate Training.
The third about Taido.
All of these books are in Japanese. There's no other language translation, and the first two are out in print in Japan.
Still, it is possible to find second hand copies with a little luck.
